The local production outfit STAR CINEMA just couldn't stop themselves financing great movies, i do mean it . . . in a good way. I was amazed and again moved by this movie, though LITERALLY I must say that I am not an avid fan of Local Movies at all. Recently, i watched their post- valentine movie offering Miss You like Crazy. I watched it with Charmaigne, at first i am too hesitated to watched the said movie because the trailer seems to explain the whole plot of it, and that triggers my thinking that the movie was again PREDICTABLE just like any other feel-good love story movies locally made,  for which is  very bad attitude of mine because of STEREOTYPING. But I was there already, the ticket has been paid and all i have to do is enter the cinema and watched the movie. I taught the movie was brilliant. But I am a Filipino and you could not took that trait in me, that " COMPARE and CONTRAST " thing. Well as what my profile states, I am a moviegoer and a reviewer as well, I mean I am entitled to my opinion and you of course, you could also do that. Comparing it to the previous movie where Bea / John lloyd teamed up,  I am pertaining to the film  " ONE MORE CHANCE ", also another movie produced by the largest film outfit in town ( STAR CINEMA ) then second is VIVA films of course. One more chance, i must say a triple slasher to any love story theme movies ever created, yet. That bastard movie made me cry for like 3 times.. i think? I did feel some connection to that movie while I was watching it, too bad i only watched it on DVD, and not on the big screen compared to MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY, though our television is kinda big, so that aspect was already forgiven. hahaha. 

ONE MORE CHANCE... the movie that even if you keep repeating watching it, you will never find it DULL, i mean no HUMDRUM MOMENTS, and you will never get that UMAY feeling. That UMAY feeling I am pertaining to is that comparable when you are watching WOWOWEE every afternoon, did you get what I mean?.  And even though you watched that movie for like 3 times or 5 times, like me, you will do cry and can feel the movie over and over again. Well for those of you who haven't watched ONE MORE CHANCE, i must say that you loosed 3/4s of your life. To gave you an idea what the movie was about, it is about a relationship that stands for i think 4 years already and then suddenly Bea's character ( BASHA ) decided to break up with John Lloyd's character ( POPOY ) to find herself and to grow as an individual. But again that effin LOVE just couldn't help POPOY to miss and continue loving BASHA, though it is already hurting him. Crap! Do i have to tell you the whole story. Yes it may sound like any other predictable movies, but it is not only the story that made me cry for liters, it is their awesome portrayals of their roles. special credits to John Lloyd for his good acting. Of course the movie, just like any other movies, had a twist. And for you my dear readers who experienced a love story like POPOY and BASHA's, better watched this film right now, and memorized those PATAMA lines. who would forget the lines thrown by POPOY?

SO GO get your ass up and go to the nearest VIDEO CITY and try to buy this movie, I mean not try, just do bought a copy of it, and if the film was "PANGIT", cuss me here in my blog, is that a deal?. And for those of you there who just can't pull their ass up, and afraid to spend and lose their 300 bucks for buying it on the video rentals, try downloading the torrent file to BTJUNKIE.org, but make sure you have Bitcomet or any torrent downloader there in your PC's and laptops, though it may took long, i mean depending on your download speed, but it was worth the wait, but hey wait I AM NOT provoking you to watched it illegally, hahahah, I am just suggesting. But if you are those guys out there who are campaigning anti-piracy and stuffs, better do my first suggestion, BUY IT... Buy ORIGINAL. . And there it was. After almost 3 years of being absent on the big screen, the fans of course miss them like crazy, I must admit it that I am already a fan of their movies, not their team-up. For sure I guaranteee you my dear readers that you will never find me in their mall tours and premiere nights, holding their posters and banners, screaming their names and going gaga just like those avid fans of them. I am already going too far, Going back to what i was saying earlier, the fans missed them like crayzy. And even both of them admit it on local news interviews that they do missed teaming up on the big screen. That is why they have this Post Valentines Offering entitled " MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY". Just an ICE BREAKER, did you notice or just me that notice it?, That every movies STAR CINEMA produces are titles of SONGS, and then that MOVIES OST will be the song on their movie title ( eg.: VERY SPECIAL LOVE, YOU CHANGE MY LIFE IN A MOMENT, NOW THAT I HAVE YOU, ALL MY LIFE, MY FIRST ROMANCE, BCUZ OF U, CAN THIS BE LOVE, and then MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY then BABE, I LOVE YOU ) compare it to U.S based movies. See the difference when it comes to giving a title on their movies, though not all local movies followed that pattern i had obseved. OK so where are we again? 

MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY is about a movie where time is not a factor when you are already in love, i mean deeply in LOVE. Though I found some negative goo-goos in this movie and some glitches. Like Maricar Reyes and John Lloyd characters are about 4 yrs already in relationship with each other, then there comes BEA's Character who is very different, bubbly that is why John Lloyd fell in love with her easily. You see... I mean this really happens in real life. But you see it gave the viewers an idea that sometimes the duration of relationship bears only a small weight compared to the quality of love. I mean QUALITY versus QUANTITY is the theme of this movie. Of course hell YES, Quality did won in the movie, ANO BA NAMAN ANG HABA NG RELASYON NYO SA ISA't ISA eh kung MAS MASAYA ka NAMAN dun sa ISA na KAKAKILALA NYO LANG AT WALA PANG ISANG TAON KAYO NAGSASAMA. I think that sentence i created justified the whole movie. Though it may have a negative side for some but somtimes that statement is applicable for some relationships out there. BEA AND JOHN LLOYD team up are the one to beat when it comes to movies. AND of course credits to STAR CINEMA and their DIRECTOR Ms. Catherine Molina, a fantastic job for her team also. Great actor/actress plus an award winning box office director and the largest film outfit in the country, what a trio to beat. THIS ENTRY WOULD be the longest article for any LOCAL MOVIE review i have posted in my blog. FINAL MESSAGE would be, sometimes we put ourselves in the characters in the movie we were watching, it was never wrong, what's wrong is when YOU LIVE THE WAY THE CHARACTERS LIVE in the movie, expecting for a happy ending just like theirs, which will never happen, I guess. LIFE WAS NEVER A HAPPY ENDING, BECAUSE LIFE has no endings, we are the one creating our own script, directing our own stories, producing our own pathways, we are responsible for our own happiness, sadness and dramas. MOVIES are just a small window of what life is, the bigger window is within our own camera lenses. our HEART.

Elections are about to come. Presidentiables are really trying their best to leave a mark on us voters. With the ads they are airing every now and then on the television, on the radio and even one time i heard the alert tone of a passenger on a jeep, his ring tone on his cellphone is... guess what? the Manny Villar song. I am sure that all of you my dear readers is familiar to that song and now recently there is this new ad, i think it is about a party list called " AKAP BATA ", and hell! the tune of the song is somehow similar to that of Villar. I don't understand why these politicians spend gazillions of pesos for a silly ad, maybe they are thinking that with this kind of strategy ( making a "catchy" jingle ) would elect them to be the next leader of this country. Oh, FOR MOTHER EARTH's sake, i had enough of those songs. But let me tell you something stupid i did,  I remember one time when i first heard the advertisement, i really can't help not searching the lyrics to the web, and from then on every now and then i sang that effin song * nakaligo ka na ba sa dagat ng basura ", especially that first line. Oh yeah! Imagine yourself on a tub of trash, who would have thought of doing that? Villar is lying, i think! Did he even swim on an ocean of garbage? I KNOW RIGHT. Try asking him today to dive to the swarms of garbage, my dear readers IF HE DO THAT, my vote is for him. 

BUT SHIT! He will never do that, that arrogant orange squash, spending millions of bucks for his commercials. It may sound that I am an ANTI-VILLAR, yeah a little. . But I am pertaining to all those candidates in the presidential race who think that money is just a word with no worth at all, they keep spending and spending. Try giving it to me, and I will be as noble as I can by building houses for the poor, donating some on the different charities and the different organizations helping the poor and the needy, reconstructing those schools damaged by the typhoon and especially the roads as well but of course i will spend some for my family and myself! HELL SHIT, WHO IN THIS WORLD IF EVER HE HAS A GAZILLION OF MONEY WOULD NEVER INTEND IT TO USE FOR ANY PERSONAL STUFFS, try me, cause i will not. hahaha. Going back to the money, A house with 4 or 5 bedrooms with an attic and 2 toilets, would have been great, that would be my top priority and a garage of course to store those allegorical and magnanimous cars . Then a small grocery for my mom to manage, to keep her busy. A brand new car for my Dad probably a porsche and his dream land cruiser would do. A trip for 6 to Europe, USA, some parts of ASIA, for a vacation is also great, spending time with my family to far countries has always been a dream of mine. A European and Asian Cruise with my friends, I could even gave them IPHONE / BLACKBERRY one by one, so that my friends and I would just BBM ( BLACKBERRY message ) with each other. hahaha. A mansion in Tagaytay is also great and a practical investment especially in times of summer, THE HEAT in Manila is comaparable to the heat in an oven toaster, literally! 

Of course I will never forget my profession, MY NURSING CAREER, I will create an organization that caters the need of those NURSES here and abroad, you see I consider those dear Nurses of ours as a hero, not just any care giver. For myself, I would buy a car, the one that OBAMA has. . I will buy a condo unit in Taguig. I will eat and devour myself to those costy and fancy restaurants in the metro, those foods that once in my life i have never eaten and tasted yet. I will buy a yacht, i dunno, BASTA, i just need to have one. I will buy 3 different mobile phones representing the 3 different mobile networks, so that every people in the country is just one text away, REGISTERING each to Unlimited service would be a crazy lunatic an idea ( imagine texting here, texting there, receiving calls to the other phone ). I will also build a leisure park in some parts of Rizal to increase the numbers of my properties. A small house, probably with 3 rooms and 2 toilets and a garage again" in the United States of America particularly in Castro Valley so that my aunties is just a walk away. I will try visiting different countries with my spare time (lol) so that i will get a chance to capture myself with those historical landmarks ( of course with the use of a DSLR camera, which i will bought if it permits me to ) and then upload it to Facebook. Imagine your album names in Facebook would be Trip to ROME, A day in Hawaii, My SUMMER in RIO DE JANEIRO, MY XMAS in Germany, A tour in France, A nap in Antartica ( sleeping in Antartica during EL NINO days in MANILA is a very fantastic idea). 

But I guess I am talking and spending too much. Very disappointing, I may not be using it to adverstisements, but i am spending it to my luxuries. I am just like one of them! Just another man who can't realize the value of a huge amount of money when it is already on our bare hands. I know that even you who is reading my blog, would taught of those fancy ideas I've just imagined/planned too. I guess this is again a mirror for us to reflect. We are angry of someone not spending his/her money wisely, but think of it, there is or there are times in our lives that sometimes we are too blind to realize the value of this colored papers and round silvers / golds. We keep on using it and there would come a time that we are already looking/searching those lost moneys we had just spend, that as if it was misplaced or dropped out on our pockets/ wallets. This conclusion of mine is 85% true, most of the time we are responsible for every piece of peso we are spending. So again, those money of yours, KEEP IT for YOUR FUTURE, you'll never know if there are good investments alloted for you in the coming years, decades, centuries.

I've been to hiatus for the longest time this year.  This year would have been the busiest and the most toxic year for me. But hell, i've said this line to you on my earlier posts, Once a blogger, always a BLOGGER.  Going back to the history of my hiatus, it is not a secret to you, my dear readers that I am a Nursing student, and this semester I met hell. Yes! one of the most difficult subjects on my program is Medical Surgical Nursing. I really do find it so difficult, that the chiseled Manoel before became dull, dingy and stupid. I've been to alot of annoying dramas this semester, which today i realized that it is NOT OF ME anymore. I became so premature, childish and a bit of insensitive this semester, that is why i think that it predispose to my failing grades on my midterms. Another thing that kept me so busy this sem, is the rotation of duties,  which i consider a hurdle to my time. I've been assigned to the morning shift to the night shift, though i enjoy SOME of it. From the Operating room to the Recovery Room, I also get the chance to rotate on some awesome areas like the TELEMETRY ( this area thought me to read those lines that fluctuates on ECG  , HEMODIALYSIS and RSCC. Of course it's not always rainbows and butterflies, I've been assigned to the Med-Surg Charity ward, under the grisly and catankerous Mr. Bolado, but I learned alot from him and his ward, which i think would make me a betterv and a more competent nurse in the future. I will never forget the RANITIDINE which l was supposed to give IVT  but it leak before i administer it, and the coarse tremor of my fingers and hands.lol.  

Also this semester gave me the privilege to be handled by the dean of our College,INTRODUCTION TO NURSING RESEARCH. We made a thesis /  research study. The time, the working hours of my group and the patience of each one of us has been tested. Some of us also work till the midmorning, some of us has already gone to the limits "hindi na natutulog".,only for the love of our research study. Also credits to our credible though cranky leader Mr. John Lopez for his conviction to our study, his logical and comprehensible thoughts and incontrovertible / beyond-doubt decisions,which made passed us to the said subject.  Also credits to my fellow groupmates for their dedication, patience and their shared wit to finish this study.

To wrap it all up, I did pass all of my subjects this semester, with all possible humilities. Of course all praises and thanksgiving to God, Jesus, all the angels and all the Saints. I would also like to thank my HS friends for believing and the continuous prayers , to my beloved JERMAC and college buddies for everything, RON DALE for a glimpse of his paper during the final examination.lol. Especially to my best friends, you know who you are, no need for any special mention ( 1 from the states, 6 locally made.lol ). And for those who i forgot to mention but has done a very good job for me this year, thank you. ^^

MOB? Manoelster Online Blog,  I once dream of having my own blog, way back 5 years ago. And yes i have succeeded of obtaining that dream of mine, I considered my blog as my online version of me. A diary / a news portal / info hub / my pensieve / vessel of emotions and more, this are just some features of my blog. I started at tabulas with a username of solidarity, i was so amateur when it comes to posting entries before. i could even compare myself as a child having some tantrums and then throwing stuffs to his mother, yes that is me before. When i am bursting with anger with a person i would screw him / her  and cuss even CURSE him/her on my blog. I remember a time, i think 2 years ago when Mr. Jayson Posadas ask me to avoid cussing on my entries, that is when i started to minimize the use vulgar words. My blog is an example of change. My layouts, the way I post, the way of using my words just transcends from time to time. I think this time I became more benevolent, humane, altruistic and lenient, but sadly i would like to erase that image. I just don't feel being one of those adjectives. And after 5 years another mash up of my blog was about to unveil , this new change of my blog was so superb that i am liking it already even if this is only my first entry for the newest line up of my blog.

MOB: with a vision of becoming one of the country's premiere BLOG by 2020. More advertisements, more entries, more reviews, more articles, more topsy turvy moments, more money to make from simple posting to endorsing products. Credits of course to my beloved master in web designing whom I worked since I was just starting in this industry i love, She gave me ideas, lessons and houghts when it comes to graphic designing and the likes, Ms. Donna Carlos, THANK YOU so MUCH, that you are one of the reason why my blog never rest.  The hunger for blogging runs in the vessels of my system, the devour for information dissemination to the public is just one of the million reasons why I continue my blogging. 

5 years? Who would have thought of it, that i will last in this business. Thank you of course to Google for the continuous trust on my blog, also for putting me on their search listing. For Tabulas, who served as my BLOG HOST for 5 years, i know my fidelity has been questioned because of my transfer to BLOGSPOT, but i already deactivated my account there, Sir Roy, thank you for continuing your VISION of transforming TABULAS to be one of the world's premiere blogging host. And of course my gasoline to my engine, those who are responsible of pumping the engine, my fellow BLOGGERS and my avid readers, the word THANK YOU is not enough, I am more than grateful because of you.  Let us continue the spirit, the urge to be an ONLINE JOURNALIST is about to start AGAIN.
